Covid 19 - Advanced Placement Exam Update

Dear Parents and Students:

We hope that you and your families remain healthy and safe.

We want to thank you for your loyalty and patience as we navigate this difficult time.  As information regarding testing becomes available, we will do our best to keep you informed and up to date on the developments.

Please see the attached link from the College Board, the entity which administers the Advanced Placement exams.   https://apcentral.collegeboard.org/about-ap/news-changes/coronavirus-update.  This information, distributed today, explains that Advanced Placement exams will still be given, but will cover less material and that the testing will take place in an on-line format.  The College Board also indicated that it will offer testing on two separate dates, but advised that it would not disclose those dates until April 3, 2020.

Inasmuch as Advanced Placement exams will still be administered, we anticipate that we will still hold review classes.  In light of the circumstances surrounding COVID-19, it may not be possible to hold live in-person classes.  Only time will answer that question for all of us.  In lieu of live classes, we are working diligently on an on-line format for our classes.

We will continue to keep you apprised of updates as they arise and we ask for your continued patience as we all navigate the weeks and months ahead.

Wishing you all the best for your continued health and safety.
